Dr. Jaime Romo
Jaime J. Romo is Assistant Professor in the Department of Learning and Teaching at The University of San Diego. Prior to this post, Dr. Romo taught multicultural education in the National University teacher education department. He has taught and served as an administrator in middle and high schools in Los Angeles and San Diego. Dr. Romo's main area of interest is promoting individual and institutional multicultural competency development toward cultural democracy. His research ranges from transformational teaching development to staff and community change related to linguistic and intergroup challenges. He has been a consultant for the Anti-Defamation League and for private industry related to cultural diplomacy.
